I’m very passionate about mental illness and depression. I been dealing with depression over 20 years now. The stigma around mental illness needs to stop. We need to keep talking about mental illness and depression. So people can know there or not alone.

You will never understand why a person take their life. I can tell you from my own experience from thinking and trying to kill myself.
When you have been depressed for so long feeling helpless and hopeless. Tired of this feeling that keep you from enjoying life. It wears on your mind body and soul. You already feel dead in the inside, you feel why keep going through this. It’s like you don’t really want to die but you can’t go on feeling this way. Yes you pray and you even know it will get better one day but in that moment you just can’t take it nomore. You want to end the suffering you see no other way. You feel like a burden to people anyway so you choose the way you want to end your life. By hanging or a overdose or just blow your brains out. Before you take you life you make a choice should I leave a note saying why I took my life or should I just let people wonder why. Why did she do so many why’s. Just know I saw no other way to stop the pain.
MENTAL ILLNESS IS REAL!!!! IF YOU ARE SUFFERING PLEASE GET HELP!!!! TELL SOMEONE! DON’T TRY TO UNDERSTAND WHY A PERSON WOULD TAKE THEY LIFE JUST TRY TO HELP BEFORE IT’S TO LATE.

When you want to talk to a person that have a mental illness and she open up about her mental health she is trusting that you won’t hurt her. Having a mental illness is already a struggle. We see and feel things different from a person that doesn’t have a mental illness. Having a mental illness we care about people maybe to much. Trusting that this person will not hurt you. It’s bad enough dealing with your own thoughts when you depressed. So for a person to hurt a person that deal with a mental illness is not right. It’s wrong all you doing is making it worse. Make her more sad, making her want to cut herself or even kill herself. If a man or woman know your intention is not to make a person with a mental illness feel better and try to make them happy don’t even try to date her. Because all you doing is making it worse!
